THE ROLE

The post holder will be responsible to the Head of Admissions through the Admissions Coordinator to the UAO Campus Manager for the provision of an Admissions support service. The successful applicant must be able to work under a minimum of supervision and to exercise considerable personal responsibility, judgement and initiative and be prepared for flexibility in work, depending on the academic calendar. They will be expected to work as part of the admissions team to effectively and efficiently provide a professional applicant experience to admission at Ulster.

ABOUT YOU

  • Evidence of a good standard of literacy/numeracy as demonstrated by qualifications at GCSE grade C or higher, or by relevant work experience.
  • Experience in a clerical role, to include working with large databases to input and extract data, using a report writer tool for the preparation of reports and working across multiple databases to communicate complex information to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent IT skills, including experience of using a Student Records/Admissions System or other Information System (e.g. Banner, Cognos, SITS, etc.), MS Excel, MS Word, MS Teams and email packages.
  • Experience of organising meetings or events.
