Ulster Sports Club are looking for an experienced Bar Supervisor to support the management team and help with day-to-day operations of the venue.
The role:
As Supervisor, you will lead by example on shift, support the bar team, maintain high service standards and help deliver an outstanding guest experience.
The rate of pay for this role is £14.30 per hour plus discretionary annual bonus opportunity of up to £500.

What you’ll do:
- Support the management team with the opening and ongoing operation of the bar
- Supervise day-to-day bar shifts, helping to ensure seamless service flow and effective team co-ordination
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional service, responding to customer feedback professionally and escalating issues when required
- Support the training and development of the bar team, reinforcing the venue’s culture, service standards and ways of working
- Assist with shift briefings, cash handling, stock control, opening and closing procedures and completion of required checks
- Maintain excellent bar presentation and product quality while ensuring compliance with hygiene, health and safety, and licensing requirements
About you:
- Previous supervisory experience in a busy pub or other bar service environment (at least 12 months, 2 years preferred)
- A people person who builds positive working relationships with colleagues and guests
- A confident shift leader and communicator with strong organisational skills
- You have sound knowledge of bar operations, customer service and responsible alcohol service
- You’re enthusiastic, hands-on and comfortable supporting the team during busy services
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays
