Senior Team Physiotherapist Ref: 01/25/STP Ulster Rugby are currently inviting applications for the post of Senior TeamPhysiotherapist.The post holder will support the Lead Physiotherapist in the delivery of Physiotherapy services to the Ulster Senior Rugby team.

Committed to a culture of growth, we seek an experienced Physiotherapist with the energy and hunger to progress themselves and our team.
Working collaboratively with Ulster s Athletic Performance Staff, we require someone with advanced rehabilitation skills to expedite the return to performance for our injured players.
The successful candidate will work alongside a medical team with significant expertise in Professional Rugby and wider elite sport.
They will be educated to degree level in Physiotherapy and should be registered with Health Professions Council.
They should also have training in Pitch Side Emergency Care to ICIS level 3 or have a willingness to complete this training at the next available opportunity.
Our philosophy for professional development has allowed several Physiotherapists to gain wider experience at NI Commonwealth Games and Team GB at the Olympics.
The Medical Team shares close links with local Universities with members of the Medical Team being engaged in research and also lecturing on the MSc in Sports Medicine at University of Ulster.
Aligned to the centralised IRFU system, physiotherapy staff access online monthly practice sharing sessions between the four provinces and national teams.
Through its online educational platform, staff have access to interactive and recorded monthly lecture series with international experts.
Staff have the opportunity to engage in a mentoring programme organised by the IRFU Head of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Phil Glasgow, developing the leadership skills to mentor an individual within the system, and also receive mentoring as desired.
The individual will also work with the Irish international team physiotherapist and IRFU Rehab Specialist in the routine performance and injury management of Ulsters International players with opportunities to experience the Senior National Team environment.
The successful candidate must, by the closing date for receipt of applications, be eligible to live and work in the United Kingdom.

The post is being offered on a two year full-time fixed term contract from the date of commencement until 30th June 2027.
