You will ensure your production area is kept tidy and well maintained, and is running safely, efficiently, at maximum capacity and that all KPI’s are on target.
- As part of a Production Management Team focus on contributing to the highest levels of operational performance through departmental performance data analysis, change and innovation.
- Continually review work practices and methods to implement quality, productivity and safety improvement to achieve KPI’s.
- Ensure the optimisation of shift resources to produce a quality product in line with planned manufacture and despatch dates.
- Develop employee flexibility by multi-skilling, exploring alternative working time solutions and self managed teams, as appropriate.
- Continually review departmental performance against targeted objectives and take responsibility as required for compilation, development and upkeep of production management reports.
- Exercise open communication to encourage the engagement of operative and technical personnel.
- Work effectively with the Weaving Technical Manager to ensure planned maintenance schedules are achieved.
- Ensure effective cross departmental/functional working relationships are in place to enhance production.
- Demonstrate a commitment to the implementation of a safety culture that reflects the Company Health & Safety Policy.
- Ensure compliance with the Quality and Environmental Policies and procedures.
- Support and participate in HR related practices and policy.
- Undertake any training as directed.
- Take direction from your Manager/Director in terms of additional tasks required to be completed
- Be an active member of the team and treat all team members with respect
- Carry out all duties in line with standard operating procedures and training in a safe and efficient manner.
