Full-time Permanent – 40-hour week with 1-hour unpaid break each day.
We are looking for a Valet/Vehicle Progressor to join our busy and growing team in Penrith. This role will be predominantly valeting, ensuring used vehicles, stock cars and handover vehicles are presented to a high standard. For the right candidate, the role will also develop into a broader vehicle progression position, helping manage the flow of used stock through valet, photography and trade disposal.
Duties include:
- Valeting used vehicles and customer handover cars to a high standard
- Photographing used car stock
- Uploading trade vehicles to our trade platform auction
- Organising the valet and photography process for incoming stock
- Ensuring stock cars and handover vehicles follow the correct process using T-Cards
- Helping manage the safe and correct use of chemicals within the valet bay
We are currently building a new valet bay with a turntable/photo booth style area, which will make the process even more efficient and create a great working environment for the right candidate.
About You:
- You are reliable, good at timekeeping and time management
- You have good organisational skills and can work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining high standards at all times
- Able to work both independently and as part of the team
- Be confident around vehicles and vehicle presentation
- Willing to take ownership of stock flow and preparation processes
- Driving licence required
Hours of Work:
Monday – Friday 8.30 – 17.30. (1-hour unpaid lunch break) Overtime available.
Rates of Pay:
£14.00 per hour. Potential to rise to £15.50 per hour after 3 – 6 month probation if additional responsibilities are achieved.
