Laboratory Engineer in Basingstoke

We are now hiring for a Laboratory Engineer to join the team, where you'll get the opportunity to perform hands-on testing, write reports for customers and help the team maintain accreditation standards. • Setting up and preparing laboratory equipment for testing.
• Performing SAR testing on a variety of wireless products.
• Reviewing test plans and supporting test execution.
• Analyzing results and assisting with technical reporting.
• Maintaining laboratory accreditation, equipment, and documentation.
• Keeping project records up to date and ensuring timely delivery of customer projects.
  HNC or a Degree in a relevant subject, e.g. Engineering.
• 1 year to 2 years of hands-on testing experience, either with SAR or equivalent, such as RF (Radio) EMC or other Cellular testing.
• Knowledge of some of the following SAR test standards: EN 50360, EN 62311, EN 50566, EN 62209-1/-2/-1528, EN 50383/50385, FCC SAR KDB's publication, IEEE1528, RSS 102.
• Excellent communication skills, both within the organisation and potentially with customers.
• Hard-working attitude and a flexible outlook.
• Able to work well within a close-knit team, but also happy working independently.
