Responsibilities- Develops and motivates sales professionals by coaching and transferring the knowledge of consultative selling skills and sales techniques, service offerings, and industry knowledge to the sales team to drive results.
- Lead client engagement by developing and managing relationships at the middle management and key decision maker levels for large and medium customers.
- Manages sales transaction pipelines and forecasting and hold sales staff accountable for assigned sales targets.
- Demonstrates expertise and understanding in latest market developments and trends to drive go-to market strategies.
- Manages the performance of direct reports by developing accountabilities, establishing performance objectives, providing career counseling, feedback and guidance and ensuring that all policies are understood and adhered to.
- Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.
- Performs other duties as directed.
- University Degree (Equivalent to Bachelors Degree) in Business Administration, Sales Management or related field.
- Generally 8+ years of related experience or demonstrated competency including 3 years or more of relevant management/leadership experience or demonstrated competency.
- Ability to work on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires a variety of factors, including understanding the sales process.
- Strong understanding of sales principles, techniques and best practices.
- Requires the ability to gain cooperation of others, conducting presentations of technical information concerning specific projects or schedules to senior level management and customers.
- Expert on sales strategies and tactics.
- Excellent communication, leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Significant business travel and work outside of the office is required.
