We are looking for a Project Engineer for Fire Suppression (EN‑Certification) to join UL Solutions. In this role you will handle EN certifications with the option of CE marking.
Responsibilities:
- Scrutinize and verify the relevance of all requests and steps throughout the project.
- Support the preparation of quotations; determine necessary steps for Sales to offer to customers.
- Create project plans, including concise reporting to management.
- Plan and coordinate tests in internal and external laboratories.
- Ensure projects stay on schedule and meet deadlines.
- Plan and conduct customer or witness tests, including travel to customers or external laboratories.
- Produce and maintain necessary documentation for certification.
- Support management with audits, data revisions, improvement identification, training plans, and mentoring.
- Expand customer contact and network to provide optimal service.
Qualifications:
- Technical engineering degree (Bachelor’s or higher), preferably in Safety Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in certification processes (EN & CE) is an advantage.
- Experience in project work and PM skills (time management, Gantt, etc.).
- Ability to quickly learn unfamiliar topics.
- Meticulous, careful work and thorough scrutiny of all steps.
- Broad transfer knowledge in technical and project‑related disciplines.
- Confident presence in front of customers, employees, service providers, management.
- Strong sense of service and continuous optimization of own processes.
- Regular verbal and written English communication with customers worldwide.
- Willingness to travel up to approximately 25%.
