Reporting into the regional marketing leader, the Regional Marketing Specialist drives marketing activity for the Western Europe region cross-business and company-wide. This includes aligning global go-to-market plans with regional insights to effectively reach and influence local audiences. The person will be working closely with regional business stakeholders on the execution of the regional strategies; responsibilities include driving demand creation through effective marketing campaigns and tactics as needed, including digital marketing, social marketing, events and more.
This hybrid position is based in our Saint-Aubin/Saclay (France) office, providing the perfect balance between flexible home working and valuable face-to-face team interaction.
Responsibilities
Provides insights about region-relevant customers and market(s), based on region business strategy, local market trends, competitive insights and ensures alignment of region tactical plans to business goals.
• Works as part of cross-functional team to execute tradeshows and events in the region, supporting branded activities
• Manages the campaign and budget country in accordance with the Regional Marketing Manager
• Collaborate cross-functionally to drive successful marketing performance in the Western Europe region
• Contributes to business success by performing other tasks as required
• Follows UL Solutions Standards of Business Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices
Qualifications
- University Degree (Equivalent to Bachelor’s degree) in Marketing or a related discipline
- At least three (3) years’ professional experience in marketing field
- Knowledge and experience with demand generation strategies, MAP/CRM tools, competitive insights gathering, planning tools and budgeting processes is a plus
- Strong understanding of all aspects of the marketing mix, experience activating promotions and leveraging tools across a variety of promotional channels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience managing and/or using a wide array of communication tool
- Fluent in English and French, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
