We are seeking an experienced and collaborative Making Waves Programme Manager to lead the delivery of South Tyneside's ambitious cultural programme. The role will drive strategic partnership development, programme management, fundraising and stakeholder engagement to increase participation in arts and culture, strengthen community leadership, and build long-term cultural resilience across the borough. The successful candidate will have proven experience managing complex programmes and partnerships, securing funding, overseeing budgets and working with senior stakeholders. This is a part time, fixed-term role for 2 years with the opportunity to help shape the future of South Tyneside's cultural landscape.
Job Purpose
The Making Waves Programme Manager will lead the strategic development, coordination and delivery of South Tyneside's flagship cultural programme, working in partnership with cultural organisations, communities, funders and public sector stakeholders. The role will drive the implementation of the Making Waves Cultural Strategy, increasing participation in arts and culture, strengthening local cultural infrastructure and securing investment to support long-term sustainability. Through effective leadership, partnership building and programme management, the postholder will ensure that culture plays a key role in creating thriving, inclusive and resilient communities across South Tyneside.
