Contract Manager
Location: Bedford
Salary: Competitive

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday
What you’ll do:
As a Contract Manager at Ground Control, you’ll take full ownership of contract delivery, customer relationships, and financial performance across your assigned area. You’ll lead safe, high-quality delivery through your Site Management teams, helping drive profitability, client retention, and business growth while living our values-led culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage one or more contracts with full P&L responsibility
- Lead programme delivery through Site Managers, ensuring safety, quality, and commercial performance
- Build strong client relationships and support repeat and new business
- Contribute to tenders and support the Gateway process
- Develop delivery plans and oversee contract mobilisation
- Ensure compliance with H&S, quality, and Ground Control systems
- Support payment applications and resolve commercial or payment issues
- Recruit, develop, and mentor Site Managers and field teams

- Experience managing contracts in rail, infrastructure, or similar environments
- Strong commercial and financial awareness
- Confident people manager with excellent organisational skills
