We're looking for a Commercial Administrator to support our Commercial and Operational teams across Utilities projects and frameworks. You'll play a key role in helping manage costs, revenues, contracts, and client relationships, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and commercially successfully. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills and commercial awareness who wants to develop their career within a growing and supportive team.
What you'll do:
- Support the day-to-day commercial administration of Utilities contracts and frameworks
- Assist with pricing contract variations and maintaining accurate records
- Monitor and track client variations, ensuring all changes are recorded and managed effectively
- Support the Early Warning process and contract administration requirements
- Assist with Applications for Payment, invoicing, and resolving payment queries
- Contribute to monthly commercial and financial reporting
- Support supply chain administration and supplier coordination
- Build strong working relationships with operational teams, suppliers, and clients
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and commercial reporting data
- Help ensure consistency and compliance with Ground Control's commercial processes and procedures

What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in an administrative, commercial, finance, or project support role
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Professional approach when dealing with clients, suppliers, and colleagues
- Good commercial awareness and an interest in project performance and financial processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with data entry, reporting, and document management
- A proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused mindset
Desirable:
- Experience within Utilities, Construction, Infrastructure, or a similar industry
- Knowledge of contract administration or commercial processes
- Experience supporting Applications for Payment, invoicing, or cost reporting
- Familiarity with financial or project management systems
- Understanding of KPIs, budgets, and project performance reporting
