Purpose of the role
The Assistant Producer plays a vital role in the smooth delivery of UKTV’s promotional campaigns. Working closely with Producers, Editors, and Post Production, they are responsible for ensuring all assets are delivered on time and to spec. They support shoots, bookings, and the full asset workflow from material sourcing to post‑production delivery, acting as the main point of contact for creative and production support across assigned campaigns.

What you will get to work on….key outputs and responsibilities of the role
- Support the Senior and Campaign Producers across multiple projects from start to finish.
- Assist with shoot logistics – booking crew, locations, travel, equipment, and managing shoot documents.
- Coordinate material sourcing by liaising with production companies and internal contacts.
- Act as the main liaison with the in‑house edit facility and external partners (e.g., Picture Shop, SES).
- Raise and track purchase orders and goods receipting in a timely manner.
- Book edit suites, voiceovers, audio sessions, and manage the session calendar.
- Keep internal systems and databases up to date, flagging missing or incorrect information.
- Monitor workflow progress, highlighting potential bottlenecks to Producers and the wider team.
- Support delivery of on‑air, digital, and social promotional assets.
- Ensure all brand assets are correct, on time, and in the right format for their intended platform.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables under pressure.
- Positive, proactive, and detail-focused with a passion for TV and content production.
