Role Overview:

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive sales growth, identify new market opportunities, and strengthen partnerships in the solar PV industry. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing, purpose-led company making a difference in renewable energy. You must be based in the UK and have proven B2B sales experience. Full and clean drivers license required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the UK and globally
  • Build and manage relationships with distributors, installers, and key clients
  • Drive sales of UKSOL solar modules and associated products
  • Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
  • Represent UKSOL at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on lead generation and brand promotion
  • Report regularly on sales pipeline, targets, and market feedback

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Proven track record in business development or sales (solar or renewable energy sector preferred)
  • Ethical approach selling. Ability to build strong long term partnerships built on trust.
  • Strong understanding of the solar PV industry and B2B sales channels
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Strong organisational and project management abilities
  • Willingness to travel domestically and occasionally internationally
