The Role

CYBERSIGNS is looking for an experienced Sign & Graphics Fitter / Vehicle Wrapper to join our growing team in Northampton.

We’re looking for somebody who already knows the sign and graphics industry and is confident working both in our workshop and out on site.

This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in their work, can work independently and is comfortable dealing with everything from vinyl and window graphics through to vehicle graphics, wraps and commercial signage installations.

What you’ll be doing

Your work will include:

• Vinyl application and graphics installation
• Vehicle graphics and commercial fleet branding
• Full and partial vehicle wraps
• Window graphics, manifestation and frosted films
• Printed wall graphics
• Fascias, trays, panels and general commercial signage
• ACM and other rigid signage
• Preparing vehicles and substrates correctly before application
• Sign assembly and preparation within the workshop
• On-site installation
• Working from access equipment where required
• Carrying out site surveys and measurements
• Reading drawings and installation information
• Working independently and as part of an installation team
• Maintaining a high standard of finishing and attention to detail
• Representing CYBERSIGNS professionally when working at clients’ premises

Who we’re looking for

We’re specifically looking for somebody with previous professional experience within signs, graphics, vinyl or vehicle wrapping.

You may currently be working as a:

Sign Fitter / Sign Installer / Vinyl Installer / Graphics Fitter / Vehicle Wrapper / Sign Maker & Fitter

We’re particularly interested in candidates who can confidently work across several disciplines rather than somebody restricted to one type of installation.

Experience of vehicle wrapping is highly desirable, but we’d also be very interested in an excellent sign and graphics fitter who has the ability and willingness to develop their wrapping skills further.

A full UK driving licence is essential.

IPAF, PASMA, CSCS or other relevant installation qualifications would be advantageous.

The person

We’re looking for somebody who can be trusted with a job and get on with it.

You’ll need to be practical, reliable, organised and capable of finding solutions when site conditions aren’t quite what was expected.

Quality matters to us. We’re looking for somebody who cares about straight lines, clean edges, good finishing and leaving a job looking right.

You’ll also need to be comfortable dealing professionally with customers and representing CYBERSIGNS when you’re out on site.

Salary & package

£30,000–£38,000 basic salary + overtime

Salary will depend on experience and capability.

Someone with strong sign-fitting skills combined with high-level vehicle wrapping experience would command the upper end of the range.
