The predicted salary is between 12 - 15 £ per hour.
Requirement for a Workshop assistant / Engineering assistant on a 4 week contract starting week commencing 29/06/2026 or 06/07/2026. Will be required to support day to day operations within the workshop.
General Labouring duties include:
- Tidying the site
- Moving materials
- Assisting trades
- Preparing orders for collection and delivery to sites
Some elements of using power tools are required, and candidates must be comfortable using power drills, angle grinders, etc. Experience with basic fabrication and cutting metal would be preferred.
Will be required to have 5 point PPE. Working hours are 7:00am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday, totalling 45 hours per week.
Requirements:
- Good time keeping and reliable
- Full 5 point PPE
- Able to reliably commute to Fareham workshop every day
