Itβs an exciting time to be part of UKSBS as we transform our business to be the leading UK public sector business service provider. We aim to become a very different organisation over the next few years as we move to a modern multi-platform, digitally enabled organisation. We are now seeking two experienced Business Analysts to provide expert analysis and support across our change portfolio, applying proven business analysis disciplines and techniques. These positions are dedicated to onboarding analysis for new UKSBS customers, playing a key role in ensuring a smooth and successful transition into our services.
Responsibilities
- Lead and document the requirements gathering process for projects including planning and organising the work, engaging with clients and users.
- Elicit requirements for custom development and enhancements using a variety of techniques.
- Review and analysis of documentation and process descriptions, use cases, etc.
- Produce Business Requirements, Functional Specifications, Use Cases, Screen Designs and other artefacts as required.
- Play a key role in feasibility studies including documentation and critical analysis of options from business, technical and commercial perspectives.
- Undertake data analysis and extract, transform and load of data including required mapping and interpretation.
- Perform gap analysis, business process mapping, and provide subject matter expertise.
- Liaise between business units, project teams and support teams.
To Do This Role Well You Will Need
- Proven track record as a Business Analyst, providing business, technical and commercial analysis for large scale ERP systems and/or Business Change development, preferably from within Public Sector.
- Excellent knowledge of business analysis techniques and tools, ideally gained within an OUM or AIM project delivery environment.
- Strong self-sufficiency and initiative working on ERP projects with the ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively.
- Knowledge of data migration including data cleansing, mapping, extraction, transformation, loading of HR & Payroll and Financial data.
- Demonstrable ERP systems experience, preferably working as part of a team implementing large ERP systems.
- A formal Business Analysis Qualification would be advantageous.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship skills β both internal & external.
- First class written and oral communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills required, including the ability to interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
- Experience of working in an Agile/SCRUM environment.
- A mix of public and private sector experience.
