Grade: UKRI Pay Band D/S2 Salary: D/S2 salary is £41,344 A great benefits package is offered including an outstanding pension scheme (with an extremely generous employer contribution on average 27% of your pay), 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays Contract Type: Permanent Hours: Full-time 37 hours a week (some flexible working options may be available, including a small amount of remote working, but this role does require regular onsite attendance) Location: BGS headquarters in Keyworth in Nottingham Closing date: Sunday 26 January 2025 About the role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health & Safety Advisor to work closely with the Head of Health and Safety in providing a high level of proficient advice to managers and staff across BGS. You will support world-class science by leading, monitoring and advising on health, safety and regulatory compliance issues.Whilst being a key member of the health and safety team, you will have a responsibility for leading on the health and safety within our laboratories as well as having the flexibility and knowledge to support the wider BGS functions.
