Engineer and Analyst

The Green Resilience Facility (GRF) is designed to finance scalable, decentralised energy assets in Ukraine, including solar, wind, battery storage, biomethane and green hydrogen in line with Ukrainian reconstruction.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Technical appraisal: Review designs, energy yield, technology selection, grid integration and operating assumptions.
• Cost assessment: Validate capital and operating cost estimates, construction schedules and equipment warranties.
• Due diligence: Coordinate independent engineers and site assessments; identify technical risks and proposed mitigants.
• Delivery oversight: Review construction progress, commissioning results and contractor performance against agreed milestones.
• Performance standards: Develop technical checklists and monitor asset availability, output and environmental and safety issues with specialists.

Qualifications:

• Education: Degree in electrical, mechanical, AI, energy or another relevant engineering discipline; professional engineering accreditation is an advantage.
• Technical assessment: Ability to review energy projects designs, yield estimates, grid requirements, degradation and availability assumptions; assess technology, suitability and identify material performance risks.
• Delivery knowledge: Experience assessing capital and operating costs, construction schedules, commissioning tests and warranties; familiarity with engineering, procurement and construction contracts.

Skills:

Proficiency in AI, Excel and relevant engineering tools; ability to document assumptions and translate technical findings into cost, schedule and investment implications. Clear English reporting, independent judgement and effective work with developers and external engineers.
