A growing property maintenance group in Fulham is looking for an experienced, reliable Multi-Trade Carpenter to join their maintenance division (roofing, restoration, damp). This suits a practical, hands-on tradesperson with strong carpentry and general building maintenance skills who can work independently and take pride in the finish. You'll cover a wide range of repair, installation, refurbishment and minor construction work across residential and commercial properties in London.
What you'll be doing:
- First and second fix carpentry: skirting, architraves, doors, frames, timber trims
- Fitting and repairing kitchen units, cupboards, wardrobes, shelving and bespoke storage
- Repairing and replacing floorboards, timber flooring and structural timber
- Decking, external timber structures, and roofing / structural timber work
- Velux and skylight installation with associated timber, flashing and weatherproofing
- General property maintenance: minor plastering, making good, locks and ironmongery, minor roofing repairs
What you'll need:
- 5+ years in a carpentry, multi-trade, handyman or property maintenance role
- Strong carpentry and joinery skills and confident across a wide range of hand and power tools
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Good attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
- CSCS card or Carpentry NVQ desirable
