Site Hours: 07.30am - 17.30pm
UKR Group is looking for an experienced Site Engineer to start ASAP in a job in Glasgow.
Responsibilities:
- Setting out works and checking levels using surveying equipment
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Ensuring works are completed accurately and to project specifications
- Carrying out quality checks and maintaining site records
- Liaising with site teams, subcontractors, and project managers
- Reporting progress, issues, and technical queries
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety standards
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience as a Site Engineer within construction
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and site processes
- Ability to use surveying equipment and interpret drawings
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and organisational abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Requirements:
- Relevant engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent)
- RC Frame Experience
- Experience with setting out and site surveying
- Good understanding of health & safety regulations
- Right to work in the UK
- Experience in civil engineering, groundworks, or infrastructure projects; knowledge of AutoCAD/BIM; SSSTS/SMSTS qualification; full UK driving licence
