UKR Group is recruiting an Electrical Designer for a well-established building services consultancy in the City of London.
You ll be designing electrical systems for commercial and industrial building projects, from lighting and small power through to distribution and containment.
This is a hands-on design role with real site exposure.
You won t be stuck at a desk.
You ll be in coordination meetings, on site, and working shoulder to shoulder with the wider project team.
What you ll be doing * Producing electrical design drawings, layouts and schematics in Auto CAD Electrical and Revit MEP * Developing lighting design layouts and calculations, including fixture selection and illumination compliance * Preparing power distribution, containment and small power layouts to client requirements and code * Carrying out cable sizing and calculations to support design and specification * Coordinating with mechanical, structural, architectural and other building services trades to resolve clashes and keep things buildable * Attending design, coordination, client and site meetings in person * Assisting with specifications, equipment schedules and design calculations * Supporting site queries and design changes through to completion * Keeping drawing revisions and documentation accurate and up to standard What we re looking for * Around 2 years experience in electrical design, idea...
