The Role
We're looking for an experienced Crane Supervisor / Slinger to take charge of lifting operations in Edinburgh. Working from the lift plan, you'll coordinate the crane operator and slinger/signallers to keep every lift safe, efficient and on schedule.
- Supervise day-to-day lifting operations in line with the lift plan and method statement
- Direct and communicate with crane operators, slingers and signallers
- Carry out slinging and signalling duties as requiredMake sure loads are correctly attached, balanced and rigged
- Check lifting accessories are in date and fit for use
- Enforce exclusion zones and site safety around the lift area
- Report progress and any issues to the site management team
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Valid CPCS Crane Supervisor (A62) card
- Proven experience supervising lifting operations
- Hands-on slinging and signalling experience
- Own PPE
- Right to work in the UK
- Contactable references from previous employment
Package & Benefits
