Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Remediation Plumber role based in Greater London. The Remediation Plumber will diagnose and resolve plumbing issues, including pipework remediation, leak detection, and repairs to ensure systems are safe, compliant, and functioning efficiently. Daily tasks include carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, replacing or upgrading pipes and fixtures, and supporting water hygiene and legionella control measures in commercial properties. The role involves working closely with site managers and other building services engineers, documenting all work performed, and adhering to relevant health and safety and compliance regulations. The Remediation Plumber will also interact with clients on-site, providing clear updates, professional advice, and high-quality service that aligns with UKPSS standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong plumbing skills, including installation, remediation, and fault-finding in commercial environments.
- Candidates should possess skills in pipework, including repair, replacement, and modification of pipe systems and associated fittings.
- Candidates should possess maintenance and repair skills, with experience in planned and reactive building services maintenance.
- Candidates should possess customer service skills, including professional communication, client interaction, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Recognized plumbing qualification or apprenticeship (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent) and valid industry certifications where required.
- Good knowledge of relevant safety regulations, water hygiene best practices, and compliance standards in commercial properties.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, job sheets, and work instructions, with strong attention to detail.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to various sites within Greater London; prior experience in commercial or industrial settings is beneficial.
