A fantastic opportunity to join a capital equipment company in an explosive growth phase. They have an exceptional piece of capital equipment, an non-invasive device for diagnosing liver disease. It is rapidly displacing the previous choice of biopsy, which was both expensive and of course less pleasant for the patient.
They have been very successful in wrapping up most of the secondary care trusts and are now looking to expand into community areas. This role is the role of a clinical educator. When these devices are sold, they also sell training as a paid service afterwards. In addition, it can be advantageous to offer training when somebody is deciding whether to buy the device.
For this role, they need a unique combination of training experience, clinical knowledge and agility, and astute commercial acumen. The latter is a reflection of the fact that you are customer-facing all the time and will have opportunities to open doors for salespeople.
