About the company
A well-established, family-run business in the premium interiors space, with a proud six-decade heritage built on quality, craftsmanship, and service. Their Central London showroom is at the heart of how they connect with architects, interior designers, developers, and private clients.
About the Role
The showroom is a crucial part of the customer experience - often the first, and most important, point of contact a client has with the business. You'll be the face of the showroom day to day: welcoming clients, understanding their project requirements, and guiding them through the product range with genuine care and product knowledge. This is a 12-month contract role with a clear route to permanency for the right person - real scope to grow, take on more responsibility, and make the role your own.
Key Responsibilities
- Play a fundamental role in the day-to-day running of the showroom
- Understand each client's project and tailor recommendations to their needs
- Provide technical advice and demonstrate thorough product knowledge
- Build long-term relationships with clients, interior designers, and architectural practices
- Create a friendly, relaxed, professional atmosphere where every client feels valued
- Manage the sample library - keeping it organised and reporting any damage or shortages
- Carry out weekly stock reviews and place replacement orders where required
- Support showroom events, launches, and marketing campaigns
- Log all showroom activity accurately and promptly via CRM
- Identify local opportunities and industry events to strengthen our presence in the design community
What We're Looking For
- Engaging, presentable, with genuine energy for client-facing work
- Showroom or strong customer-facing sales experience - a design/retail/interiors background helps but isn't essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised with strong prioritisation skills
- Self-motivated with a high level of integrity
- Comfortable being an ambassador for a premium brand
- Able to take feedback constructively and adapt as needed
- Based in London and able to commute to central London daily
