We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Administrator to support the Purchasing team and ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations.
The Role
As a Purchasing Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the Purchasing Department by ensuring accurate processing of invoices, maintaining stock control, and assisting with purchasing activities. You will work closely with the Purchasing Manager and wider team to ensure operations run efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and verify high volumes of supplier invoices against agreed schedules
- Ensure credit notes are received and discrepancies are resolved
- Maintain accurate inventory control for selected items
- Support buyers with purchasing tasks, online orders, and documentation
- Prepare weekly order sheets for multiple locations
- Assist with petty cash management and record keeping
- Provide administrative and data support to the Purchasing Manager
- Maintain organised records, filing systems, and documentation
- Order office supplies within budget guidelines
- Manage staff attendance records and holiday schedules
- Handle incoming mail and deliveries, ensuring accurate distribution
- Support day-to-day departmental coordination and any additional tasks as required
