ATC was founded in 1973 and since then we have been providing Quality English Language programmes for students of all ages from around the world. ATC continues to be independently owned and managed by a dedicated team who are passionate about delivering high quality English language programmes.

In May 2024 we were pleased to announce that ATC (ATC Language & Travel) and UK-based UKLC (UK Language Courses) had joined forces to create a strategic alliance. This brought together two of the largest independent language school operators in the sector and continues UKLC’s journey to create an Education Group of owner-managed and independent businesses.

The partnership has been secured by Ed Greevy, long-time owner of the family business ATC, selling his shares to UKLC. Colm O’Byrne remains with the business as Managing Director and retains his ownership stake. Colm continues to oversee the day-to-day running of the ATC business, the planned expansion of group operations in Ireland, and joins the UKLC board.

With this in mind, UK Language Courses (UKLC) will be handling the onboarding of your role at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge. Your summer centre will be run by ATC but you will be employed and onboarded by UKLC.
