As we continue our journey of rapid growth, we are looking for a Senior Marketplace Executive to join our growing team and support our mission to deliver exceptional online shopping experiences for our customers.
About the role
As Senior Marketplace Executive, you will play a critical role in driving growth across our global marketplaces, mainly Amazon & TikTok Shop. This is a very hands-on role and will have ownership/support of trading, merchandising, optimisation, and reporting. Working cross-functionally with Paid Performance, Ecommerce and Marketing teams, you will ensure a seamless, branded, and high-performing customer journey while delivering against ambitious commercial goals.
Responsibilities
- Support the wider Ecommerce team in developing and executing marketplace strategies to deliver revenue growth and profitability targets.
- Lead the preparation of weekly trading reports for marketplace channels, highlighting risks, opportunities and clear actions for senior stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyse key marketplace KPIs (traffic, conversion rate, AOV, revenue, ad performance, content health, return rates), providing regular performance updates with recommendations.
- Identify range, pricing and promotional opportunities to maximise visibility, sales velocity and margin.
- Work closely with Ecommerce, CRM and Performance teams to optimise customer lifetime value and repeat purchase behaviour across marketplace channels.
- Stay up to date with marketplace trends, algorithm changes, platform updates and competitor activity to inform growth opportunities.
- Manage day to day relationships with key marketplace & agency contacts, ensuring smooth execution and inclusion in campaigns and key opportunities.
- Own and optimise the end-to-end customer journey within marketplace platforms to drive conversion and ranking performance.
- Drive continuous improvement across product listings, content and storefronts to enhance discoverability and sales performance.
- Utilise platform tools and analytics (e.g. advertising dashboards, search term reports, attribution tools) to identify optimisation opportunities.
- Support the execution and optimisation of marketplace advertising campaigns to improve ROAS and organic ranking.
- Conduct regular audits of listings to ensure best practice across content, imagery, keywords and compliance.
- Take ownership of the technical connectors linking marketplaces to our central Shopify platform, ensuring seamless order flow and data synchronization.
- Own product launches and campaign activations across marketplace platforms, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
- Build and optimise product detail pages, coordinating assets, copy, pricing, keywords and localisation where required.
- Ensure listings are fully optimised in line with marketplace algorithms and SEO best practice.
- Manage catalogue health, resolving listing issues, suppressions and compliance flags efficiently.
- Monitor stock levels and sales velocity in collaboration with Operations, flagging risks and opportunities to relevant stakeholders.
Campaigns, Promotions & Growth
- Align with Performance, Growth and Marketing teams on marketplace campaign calendars, promotions and key trading moments.
- Plan and execute promotional mechanics (e.g. deal events, seasonal campaigns, platform-led activations) to drive incremental revenue.
- Support the briefing of creative assets and ensure campaign content is delivered accurately and on time within marketplace constraints.
- Leverage AI tools and platform insights to optimise product copy, creative and keyword strategy.
- Track, analyse and report on campaign and promotional performance, providing actionable insights to improve future activity.
- Test and learn across content, pricing, promotional mechanics and advertising approaches to drive continuous improvement.
Skills & Experience
- Min 2 years experience in a marketplace role, working on at least one of Amazon or TikTok Shop.
- Hands-on experience is essential, including building listings, management of stock & 3rd party integrations.
- Confident in Excel & interpreting raw data.
- Familiar with Figma and/or other Graphic Design software to work collaboratively with designers.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering measurable revenue growth.
- Proficiency with 3rd party analytics packages.
- Proficient user of AI technologies and a drive to use them to improve workflows.
- Strong project management skills and proven ability to work cross-functionally.
- Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
