As a Midweight Graphic Designer, you’ll play a key part in shaping our brand identity by creating standout visual assets across digital, social, and print channels. With a focus on data-driven design and staying ahead of industry trends, you’ll collaborate closely with the Creative Lead and marketing team in order to deliver impactful, on-brand content that drives engagement and enhances our position as a leader in the beauty industry. Your role will include: Design & Conceptualisation Create compelling designs for digital and print materials, including social media content, email campaigns, web assets, social media, paid media, packaging, OOH, and marketing collateral. Deliver content in line with UKLASH’s brand identity, values, and tone of voice, demonstrating an excellent eye for detail and strong typography and layout skills across all digital and print platforms. Assist Creative lead with development of direction and graphic treatment for campaigns including product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns, supporting research, ideation and execution. Ability to manage projects independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Packaging & Print Design Strong understanding of print production processes, including familiarity with print terms, file preparation and working with suppliers. Execution for print campaigns, OOH, POS displays, and packaging, ensuring physical brand presence feels as elevated and consistent as digital. Collaborate with suppliers to finalise dielines, mock-ups, and materials with attention to commercial and regulatory constraints. Data-Informed Design Leverage campaign performance data to guide design decisions, ensuring the creation of high-performing, best-in-class assets. Partner with Growth and Content teams to co-develop briefs that blend storytelling with performance objectives. Stay updated with design trends and competitor activity in the beauty space to keep UKLASH at the forefront of creative innovation, be hungry to learn more and work well collaboratively and efficiently. Explore and implement AI tools (e.g., Midjourney, RunwayML, Firefly) to improve workflow speed, asset diversity and testing velocity. Build and maintain a seasonal portfolio of competitor analysis, providing insights and recommendations to the Creative Lead and marketing team on how the brand can adapt and thrive in response to emerging social trends. Requirements 3 years in design role (in-house or agency), ideally in beauty, lifestyle or fashion. Portfolio demonstrating both digital and physical brand world-building (campaigns, packaging, OOH). Demonstrated use of AI in concept development or production. Experience assisting in campaign rollouts across performance and brand channels. Strong understanding of print production and packaging processes. Proficient in Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects), Figma, generative AI, Google Slides. Strong understanding of creative performance: optimising for but not limited to KPIs such as thumbstop and hook retention, CTR, ROAS, MER, including adapting creative for testing variables (e.g., hooks, CTAs, format).
