We’re a dynamic team focused on efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement. We’re looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Remote Bookkeeper to support our day-to-day financial processes on a part-time basis.
The Role:
This is a fully remote, part-time role (16 hours per week). You’ll be responsible for core bookkeeping tasks, ensuring financial records are accurate and up to date, while working independently with light oversight.
- Processing supplier invoices and managing the purchase ledger.
- Raising sales invoices and supporting basic credit control (following up overdue payments).
- Performing regular bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Maintaining accurate financial records within the accounting system (e.g., Xero).
- Assisting with weekly payment runs.
- Preparing information for external auditors where required.
- Identifying simple improvements to processes where possible.
- Any other ad-hoc tasks to support the Head of Finance.
Required Experience:
- Experience in a bookkeeping or finance assistant role.
- Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Xero).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload in a remote setting.
- Good organisational skills and reliability.

- Experience in e-commerce or high-volume transactions.
- Exposure to EU VAT or different VAT treatments.
- Exposure to multi-currency transactions and FX.
- A fast learner with great problem-solving skills and an analytical approach.
- Tech-savvy and skilled user of Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills.
- An A+ attitude mindset.
- An ambitious self-starter with the ability to work operationally and independently and as part of a team.
