The Cranial Spine business at Medtronic develops life‑restoring technologies and solutions to treat diseases in the areas of Neurosciences, Neurosurgery and Spine. This role will cover the North of England (M62 corridor/Manchester) and is responsible for supporting clinical teams in surgical theatres and maintaining the product portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Case coverage, inventory management, and intraoperative sales in close collaboration with the cranial and spinal Territory Manager.
- Providing clinical implant support to the clinical team in theatres across spinal and cranial procedures, including surgical synergy, implants, and power/energy portfolio.
- Upselling the full cranial spine portfolio in the theatre environment.
- Providing troubleshooting support to field sales force and customers on request.
- Planning and supporting clinical and technical training and education programs in collaboration with the District Sales Manager and staff, and other functional groups such as marketing, reimbursement, regulatory, clinical, and education.
- Preparing study material, training plans, organizing and conducting training for customers (physicians, technicians and nurses) in collaboration with the District Sales force/network team.
Required Knowledge and Experience
- Experience in the medical device industry or in a hospital operating room environment.
- Proven ability to operate in a matrix environment and work effectively with sales force, physicians, nurses and hospital technicians in an operating room setting.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently on projects/duties as well as contributing to a larger team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively build relationships with a wide range of people and personalities, mainly at operational level in hospitals.
- Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule and possession of a valid driver’s license.
Pay Range
United Kingdom: 52,000.00 GBP – 78,000.00 GBP
