Job Title: Event Organizer
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and talented event organizer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating events of various sizes and types, from corporate conferences and trade shows to weddings and social gatherings.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to identify their event objectives, budgets, and requirements
- Develop event concepts, themes, and budgets
- Source and manage vendors such as caterers, florists, decorators, and entertainers
- Negotiate contracts with venues and vendors
- Coordinate logistics such as transportation, accommodations, and equipment rentals
- Develop detailed event schedules and timelines
- Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown
- Manage event budgets and ensure expenses stay within budget limits
- Work with marketing and public relations teams to promote events and secure media coverage
- Ensure client satisfaction and address any issues that arise during the planning or execution of an event
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in event planning, hospitality, or related field
- Proven experience in event planning and management
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Proficiency in event planning software and Microsoft Office
