Position Overview: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring timely and efficient delivery of our products across London and the Home Counties. The position offers part-time hours, with a minimum of 3 days per week, and the potential to progress into a full-time role.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivery Operations: Safely and efficiently deliver products to clients across London and the Home Counties, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct regular checks and maintenance of the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any client queries or concerns professionally.
- Route Adaptability: Follow pre-determined delivery routes and adapt to live changes using a digital system to ensure efficient delivery.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery notes and any client feedback.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role.
- Must hold a full UK Driving Licence.
- Must be over 25 years old and have no more than 6 points on their driving licence for insurance purposes.
- Strong knowledge of London and the Home Counties road networks.
- Excellent time-management and organisational skills.
- Ability to handle physical work, including loading and unloading deliveries.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
Rate of Pay
£13 per hour with overtime rates available. Opportunity for progression into a full-time role.
