Enabler/Support Worker for a young girl P/T@ £14.67/hr in Whitley Bay
A caring and reliable enabler is sought to support a lovely young girl at home and in the community. She requires supervision with all aspects of daily living, including personal care and nappy changes, and benefits from low level stimulation due to sensory sensitivities.
She enjoys local walks, fresh air and gardening. The right person will build a trusting relationship, understand non verbal communication and confidently support meaningful, age appropriate activities while recognising signs of over stimulation and helping her stay calm.
Hours
8 hours per week during term time
12 hours per week during school holidays
Rate of pay
£14.67 per hour
A full driving licence is essential. Experience with children preferred.
Out of pocket expenses will be met by the Employer. This post is subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check and references.
