This is a creative and varied role.
We are looking for a friendly reliable and sociable support worker to assist a spinal injury client within his own home and out in the community.
Based in Southport town centre.
Key responsibilities
- Assisting with artwork and creative projects at home
- Supporting with visits to the gym and light physical activity
- Cooking and preparing meals and accompanying the client to daytime social outings such as bars with live music, cafes and other social outings
- Providing personal care, domestic care, social leisure activities and supporting the client to remain independent
- Medical safe administration of medication
Ideal candidate
- Outgoing, positive and sociable with a good sense of humour.
- Confident in the kitchen and able to prepare simple healthy meals.
- Reliable, trustworthy and respectful of the client\’s independence and preferences.
- Happy to attend lively social environments such as bars and live music events.
- Training will be provided.
