I'm a 41-year-old man with a passion for food, films and people and I'm looking for a Personal Assistant who shares my curiosity about life and enthusiasm for meaningful connection. This isn’t just a job - it’s an opportunity to join a small, career-focused team who value growth, creativity and truly person-centred support. I require 24‑hour support, seven days a week. My PAs work on a 48‑hour rolling rota - 12‑hour day shifts (£16 per hour) and 12‑hour night shifts (152.40 flat rate) on a two‑shift rotation. This equates to pay of £2755.20 every four weeks.
You’ll be involved in all aspects of my daily life - from personal care, appointments, dietary and medical needs, to exploring new experiences and ideas together. I use letterboards to communicate and I will give you the time, guidance and support to learn how to facilitate my communication. This can take up to a year, but it’s an incredibly rewarding skill to develop.
I believe in the Social Model of Disability and in creating an environment where both I and my PAs can thrive. That’s why I’m committed to offering personal, group and peer supervision, as well as a personalised training package to support your development. If you are professionally curious, open‑minded and passionate about supporting someone to live a full and interesting life, I’d love to hear from you.
