My name is Chloe and I am a happy 28 years old, but despite my age I am a vulnerable individual and require a lot of support when I am out and about. I have the genetic condition Di George Syndrome which I was born with. This means I have learning disabilities and have scoliosis. I also have a heart valve missing which requires future surgery. This sometimes makes me breathless. I enjoy being occupied and I love being taken out and being entertained. I am very easily occupied and enjoy socialising, chatting, going for a coffee, bowling, cinema, theatre, shopping...in fact, just going out somewhere. I don’t have many dislikes but can be overwhelmed by new situations and when things are out of my control. I also can get overwhelmed in crowded and busy situations. I enjoy the company of my family, including my Aunt and Uncle, my Grandma and my little nephews as well as my Brother and Sister. I am familiar with using public transport and perfectly independent in personal hygiene and toileting. No administration of medication shall be required.

  • Support to source and access interests and hobbies.
  • Being taken out and accompanied to places listed above.
  • Support in accessing the community for fun activities, including attending any groups that I will be interested in.

  • A full DBS check will be required.
  • Any relevant experience will be considered if the skills can be applied to this role.

What we can offer:

  • Supportive, pleasant and flexible family who shall assist in making this work.
  • Comprehensive package of paid training.
