Personal Assistant / Carer (Part-Time)
I am currently looking to appoint a part-time Personal Assistant/Carer to support me with daily living due to physical disabilities. A female applicant is preferred for personal care duties.
Hours
- 10 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- 9:30am to 10:30am
- 4:30pm to 5:30pm
Pay
- £12.71 per hour
Duties Include
- Personal care assistance, including showering, dressing and undressing
- Meal preparation and cooking
- Hoovering and general household cleaning
- Laundry and washing up
- Making and changing bedding
- Shopping and running errands
- General household tidying
About You
The ideal candidate will be:
- A non-smoker
- Caring, compassionate and patient
- Honest, reliable and punctual
- Hardworking and willing to learn
- Comfortable working independently
Additional Information
- I have two cats, so applicants must be animal lovers and not suffer from cat allergies.
- A current DBS check is desirable; however, one can be obtained for the successful applicant.
- Previous care experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training and support can be provided on the job.
Female applicants are preferred due to the nature of the personal care duties involved.
