Personal Care Assistant for a young person F/T@ £18.00/hr in Northolt – FTE – £35.1k
The client is based in west London. He is a non-verbal 29 year-old with severe autism, complex needs, high sensory processing needs, obsessive compulsive disorder, health care needs, learning disability and challenging behaviour. He enjoys routine, doing a multitude of activities, having fun, being around people who take an interest in him, and thrives on the encouragement and motivation given to him by those closest to him. The client is very close to his family which means the care team work closely alongside the family members. He is looking for an experienced PA to join his care team who is caring, compassionate, energetic and easy to get on with. 6-8hrs weekdays based on a weekly rota. Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Undertaking personal care tasks like toileting, showering, physio, medication, etc.
- Assisting with health needs such as desensitization, sensory regulation, muscle cramps ext.
- Domestic duties such as maintaining a clean home, washing clothes, cleaning dishes, driving, shopping, cooking ext.
- Organising, preparing, and accompanying him to appointments, outdoor activities, trips out, holidays or events, etc.
