I'm looking for a reliable, kind, and caring Personal Assistant / Support Worker to support me in the Westbury Park area, working 22.5 hours per week at £12.60 per hour. You will help me to live independently in my own home and maintain the lifestyle that is important to me. I value my independence and enjoy spending time in my garden and, when able, accessing the community. As my health needs are complex, it’s important that you are patient, understanding, and adaptable. At present, I am mainly house- and bedbound due to my complex medical needs, so the role will focus on providing supportive, respectful care within my home, while encouraging independence wherever possible.
Your role will include:
- Personal care
- Laundry and light household tasks
- Meal preparation
- Support to access the community (using a wheelchair)
About you:
- Warm, friendly, and approachable
- Able to use your own initiative
- Caring, positive, and dependable
- Flexible, particularly around hospital appointments (advance notice will be given)
Hours: Tues‑Wed‑Thu 10:30am – 3:30pm (Hours may vary occasionally to fit around appointments.)
Additional information:
- A DBS check is required (this can be arranged if you do not already have a portable DBS)
- Care experience is essential for this role — the right attitude is more important
- I'm looking for someone to start as soon as possible
- No pets at the property
