Personal Assistant (Part Time) – £15.00/hr – LeedsPay: £15 per hour. Hours: 5 hours per day (11:00–4:00/4:30pm) on Wednesdays and Fridays, with additional ad‐hoc days requiring flexibility for tasks such as food shopping, doctor appointments, and emergencies.
Location: West Park, North Leeds. The role requires the use of a personal car with a full UK driving licence, the ability to lift and fit a 10 kg wheelchair into a car boot, and adherence to excellent hygiene standards for food preparation and general cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities
Meal preparation (main meal, afternoon snack, evening meal)
General housekeeping: cleaning, hoovering, dusting, laundry, bed changing
Assisting with personal care as needed
Making phone calls and answering emails on the client’s behalf
Planning and decision‐making support
Food shopping and pharmacy pickups
Accompanying to medical appointments, local outings, and occasional short trips in car
Providing respite support and possible overnight stays
Qualifications & Requirements
Full UK driving licence and personal car
Ability to lift a wheelchair (10 kg) into and out of a car boot
Excellent personal hygiene and food safety knowledge
Familiarity with First Aid and hand hygiene practices
