Overview
I am a lady with multiple sclerosis and am looking for someone who can support me in gaining confidence and independence at home and out in the community. I am looking to recruit someone who is compassionate, will help me remain independent, and will provide companionship. I have a great sense of humour and am looking for someone of a similar nature to enjoy time with.

Responsibilities
- Helping and supporting me to be independent with household cleaning tasks in and around the home.
- Any other reasonable duties as requested.
- Support in accessing the local community.
Person specification
Essential: Females are required due to personal care aspects of the role. Someone with patience, compassion, and a positive attitude. The person I employ must have an understanding of the need for confidentiality in all areas of work, including total respect for my privacy.
Desirable: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
Summary of terms and conditions
The pay rate for this position is £12.38 per hour. Hours and times of work: 4 hours per week. Desired hours of work: Preference Tuesday and Thursday between 10:30 am to 14:30 pm. Time discussed further at interview. The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.
Conditions
The post is subject to the following: A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer. Satisfactory references from two referees, one of whom must be your current or last employer. Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months.
