Hi, I'm seeking to employ an experienced female PA/care assistant to join a small team who assist me each morning to get up and prepared for the day, and support me in keeping on top of household chores, life admin, dog walking and hobbies. I am paralysed from the chest down due to a spinal cord injury in my neck, so require some assistance with personal care, to get up, showered and dressed in the morning. Bowel care is by district nurses. Experience of working with this type of condition is preferred, however full training and shadowing will be given.

I'm active, independent wherever possible, and don't require the use of a hoist. I have a degree of flexibility in availability:

  • Monday 08:00‑12:00
  • Tuesday or Wednesday (not both) 08:00‑12:00
  • Some weekends 09:00‑11:00 or 09:00‑13:00

I can create a bespoke pattern from the above for the right person. I use a great agency for extra cover where required but prefer to employ direct. I live in LS6 with my wife.
