I am a family-oriented person with 4 children (two children living at home) and a dog. Due to back problems and various physical health issues, it has caused me to have limited mobility. I am looking to recruit a personal assistant who can provide support with maintaining the cleanliness, organisation, and presentation of my home and garden, ensuring the living environment remains tidy and comfortable.
Responsibilities include:
- Domestic duties: carrying items up and down stairs, light housework, and general upkeep around the home.
- Meal preparation.
- Attend occasional appointments, although I can drive myself.
- Gardening: support with mowing lawn and weed control.
- Support with grocery shopping; e.g., carry shopping bags.

Summary terms and conditions
Rate of pay: £13.50 per hour. Hours and times of work: 4 hrs weekly on a flexible basis. Other duties will be discussed if/when deemed appropriate but everything that will be expected will be explained prior to acceptance of the position. The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks. Access to free FLICK training for employed workers. If this job requires Manual Handling, Handling of hazardous chemicals and/or Food Handling, you will be required to undertake annual training. A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer. Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer. Completion of a satisfactory probation period of 6 months.
