The predicted salary is between 26700 - 26700 £ per year.
Experienced personal care assistant required to assist a physically disabled lady transfer from bed to wheelchair in the mornings. Working with another member of the team, you will help transfer either by board or hoist.
You will be required to work between 8.45am and 9.15am Monday to Thursday (although there is some flexibility with these days and times). You must be an experienced carer and ideally have some knowledge about spinal injuries although this is not essential as full training will be provided. Occasional holiday cover.
Summary terms and conditions:
- Other duties will be discussed if/when deemed appropriate but everything that will be expected will be explained prior to acceptance of the position.
- The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.
- Access to free training for employed workers.
- If this job requires Manual Handling, Handling of hazardous chemicals and/or Food Handling you will be required to undertake annual training.
- The post is subject to the following:
- A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
- Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.
- Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months.
