We are inviting compassionate and reliable Personal Care Assistants to join a supportive team caring for a much-loved mum, providing help both at home and out in the local community. Support is needed seven days a week across morning, afternoon, and evening calls, offering variety and flexibility for the right candidates.
This is a rewarding, person-centred role where you will help her maintain independence, dignity, and choice while supporting her to enjoy the things she loves, including cooking and baking, short walks, listening to music from Elvis Presley to Status Quo, watching classic TV programmes, and completing crosswords and puzzles.
You will work as a second care assistant supporting an older lady with significant health and mobility needs, assisting with personal care, moving and handling, meal preparation, medication, and companionship.
We are looking for calm, patient, caring individuals with a positive outlook who can follow guidance while also using initiative. A driving licence is preferred, and experience in health or social care is desirable but not essential, as full training and an Enhanced DBS will be provided.
