Personal Care Assistant required to support a senior disabled gentleman in Haswell, Durham. It is anticipated that the successful candidate would work 16 hrs and 45 mins per week over 6 days. Day off is negotiable. Hours would include the following:
- 8am for 30 mins (45 minutes 3 x pw)
- 2pm for 30 mins
- 5pm for 30 mins
- Evening for 30 mins
- The remaining 2 hours are flexible and would be discussed at interview
Rate of pay £13.00 per hour. Tasks will include:
- Personal Care
- Showering
- Ironing
- Changing bedding
- Shopping
- Meal preparation
- Supervising while eating
Experience is not essential as training can be provided, however the successful applicant should have had basic first aid training or be willing to complete this before starting the job. The successful applicant would need to be reliable and have a good sense of humour. Driving Licence is essential with access to a vehicle. DBS is essential but the cost will be paid for by the employer.
