Personal Assistant needed to support a 15-year-old female with a diagnosis of Cerebral Visual Impairment, dyspraxia, Global Developmental Delay and multisensory impairment due to her vision and hearing needs. She is partially sighted but is a free reader and has a significant speech and language delay. She is reliant on support staff to facilitate her learning.
Support needed:
- Support after school to include homework, especially support in maths, speech and language.
- Experience of using technology to record work.
- Cooking dinner including cooking life skills.
- Support with a safe route to the shop, road crossing with the dog.
- Occasional time at weekends or school holidays to cover more life skills like getting a bus, going to the shops, paying for items, etc.
Hours: 2 hours per week during term time and 6 hours per week during the holidays.
Availability: Can be flexible, after school once or twice a week, occasional weekends or school holidays.
Hourly rate: £16.47 for self-employed PAs.
