Overview: Provide personal support to a 34‑year‑old client with cerebral palsy, learning difficulties and balance issues. Assist with community visits, shopping, transport, and companionship, ensuring safety and adherence to accessibility needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support to remain independent.
- Assist in all appointments and outings (cinema, bowling, arts and crafts, sports events, etc.).
- Provide companionship and reassurance during emergencies (e.g., fire alarms).
- Ensure safe travel: use of personal car, full UK licence, lift usage, no stairs or escalators.
Qualifications:
- Full UK driving licence.
- Own car.
- Reference and DBS clearance.
- Reliability, trustworthiness, and honesty.
